Default What do you think attendance will be?

I think we will see a good number of empty seats Saturday. Maybe around 60K.

What do you think?

Depends on the weather. Anyone know what ticket sales are currently? I wonder if they could give away tickets to displaced families who may have relocated to the area.

Not going to make it. Wife and her family are all Marshall alums, so was going to that game. Gave my ticket to someone else.

Only real fans that see the situation for what it really is.

So the people who live in the low country and piedmont who won't be able to make it aren't real fans? How bout first responders and emergency personnel, someone should ban them from IPTAY for their lack of loyalty. The world doesn't start at the I-26/385 interchange. Not everyone is lucky enough to be in the upstate and safe from the storm.

Seriously? That was a thoughtless thing to say.

My sister lived in Charleston when Hurricane Hugo hit. A tree split in half and went through the roof into her kitchen shifting the foundation six inches.

Fast forward to 2018: So, I'm guessing real fans should ignore possible flooding and go to the game?

People sure are brave when they do not post under their own name. If someone who lives on the coast they were supposed to evacuate, so why not come to the upstate and make the best of the situation. Obviously I was speaking in broad terms of attendance when 70,000 people are concerned, there are always exceptions to spell it out to you idiots who evidently have very little powers of comprehension. Thanks to the first responders who will be helping out but how many are there that would have otherwise been at the game? People also need to understand the economic impact on Clemson if the game is not played, so if some very small portion of the crowd can’t make it give tickets to some fan who can.

We’ve had 50% cancal at our campground. Virtually all expressed concern about getting home after the game and this was after the change to noon start time. Most of the cancels were from MB.

Just to add to what you are saying, in the past, many of that coastal areas would not let even property owners back into an area after a storm for days. That of course depends on the damage in the area. The "authorities" say it is because of safety reasons. I can understand your customer's concern is once they leave, they may not be allowed to return for a while.

...and butts in the seats for 3rd quarter - 45-50,000...Guessing lots of folks who plan on going, will be antsy to hit the road to get home, especially if we have a comfortable lead at halftime..

Say I can't go back to my flooded home town and I'm not sure if maybe my house was ruined, I think I'll drive 4 hours and go to a football game. SMDH.

Now that we we'll likely have rain and high winds during the game, I would say 50,000.
