Default Has Feaster been a bust?

Tavien still has some time to go, but so far do you think he has been a bust?

He certainly hasn't lived up to the hype of a 5-star RB. I hope this will be a year where we see his potential.

Itís kinda hard to dispute it at this point

Heís a junior & 3rd on the depth chart. Doesnít seem to have much burst. Nothing personal towards him but it just doesnít seem to be working out like everyone thought it would.

It's pretty hard to quantify seeing he doesn't get the touches he should.

This^. I think the wheel route would be good use of speed and hands.

Should? He has to earn the touches.

Wow hate to hang that label. he is not perhaps what all the experts thoght he might be but is he a good RB? Clearly he is. I know he has to earn touches but he was the feature guy for a full season I think he would be very good. Hope the future remains an opportunity for him to produce.

I think behind a better OL he'd have great numbers. Unfortunately Feaster doesn't have the quick burst that Etienne has and that you need to get through our line or to quickly pop it outside, but he does have great top end speed. If he can get through the line he can take it to the house. But he's not great at getting through holes that are closing quickly to get to that second level like Etienne can.

Not a 5*, but he came in hurt and needed to rehab a shoulder. We dont have an oline that run blocks very well, nor do we feed running backs enough to warrant a 5* label.

He was hurt in this camp too....he's caught more bad breaks than opportunities. He's had his share of explosive plays so he has flashed at times. Watching him split with Choice gets frustrating, but Feaster is still a quality back.

Feaster and Choice have very similar history as Tigers to me.

Choice has fought through the adversity. So can and should Feaster. But let's be real, last year when KB was running all over the field and especially into the end zone Feaster sill managed 7 TDs and over 6 yards per. All while Etienne was building his resume. And KB ran more than Feaster and Etienne combined if I remember right. Or at least about the same as those two.

Seems to me the word "bust" is not a fit at all.

He certainly hasn't reached his potential, relative to what everyone predicted when he was in high school. However, he has had injuries and is also behind some other outstanding running backs on the depth chart. That makes it tough to get playing time and get touches (especially since our coordinators have obviously not prioritized using our RBs).

If your starting back only gets 8 touches what do we expect out of 2nd and 3rd back. OC has got to start using his weapons. KB should not be our leading rusher. IF KB is going to run it that much put him and TL on the field at the same time.

Considering that Clemson (with Spiller's blessing) took the number 28 out of retirement for this kid....absolutely!

I agree! I'm not sure why our coaches are so stubborn about having a running QB, especially when it means failing to involve our super talented skill players in other positions.

Iím with gerod and Judge K. Feaster and Etienne should be getting at least half of the runs KB is getting. It was maddening on that final drive to see 3 KB runs when we have 4 talented RBs on The roster that are built for that

Based on what we know right now, the answer is Yes. But, like you said, he still has some time to go.

This is a hard one. Bust is a strong word. Heís had a decent career. Itís not like heís been unproductive. With that said, he is wearing Spillers 28. The expectations that come with that jersey should make our expectations a lot higher than being #3 in a running back rotation.

So maybe bust isnít the right word. He has done some good things, but given the expectations, he absolutely has not lived up to the hype to this point. I do hope that changes soon
