Default Could Tigers play 2 games on Saturday?

Due to inclement weather expected for the Clemson area on Sunday, Clemson officials are considering a doubleheader on Saturday against Wake Forest to complete the three-game series.

The Tigers open a three-game series tonight against the Demon Deacons. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

As of Friday morning, the forecast for Sunday is a 90-percent chance of rain during the day and an 80 percent chance in the evening.

The debate for Clemson in playing a doubleheader on Saturday is third game pitcher Pat Krall. Last week, the Tigers played Florida State in a Saturday-Monday series with Krall pitching on Monday.

The lefty is already schedule to miss a normal day off because of the short week and if he has to pitch on Saturday, he will only have five days rest in between starts.

Stayed tuned to TCI as we will let you know more about the pending doubleheader as information becomes available to us.
