Oh and most important take a street car! Down Carrollton is my fave.

Camellia Grill for a late night snack! You’ll need it.

Cafe Du Monde for the experience, but if you want better Beignets without the lines, go to Cafe Beignet on Royal St. The coffee is better too (the best Café Au Lait in town.)

Best lunch spot is Daisy Dukes on Chartres. Mmm.. Bottomless Bloody Marys..

You probably won't have time, but the ultimate NO experience is a Jazz brunch cruise on the Natchez Steamboat.

Edit: Just saw you have a week. Don't pass up the Natchez if you can. Awesome experience!

And as others have said, ACME Oyster house... There's always a line but that just tells you how great it is. If you like oysters, you must have an Oyster Shot (vodka, oyster, cocktail sauce.) It's like spicey, oyster, heaven that gives you a buzz. What's better than that?
