Default Clemson's 10 best QBs of all-time

I loved the conversation on the 10 best NFL QBs of all-time so lets take it to Clemson. The top of the list is easy, but the debate should be good when we get past No. 5.

Here is mine.

1. Deshaun Watson
2. Steve Fuller
3. Tajh Boyd
4. Homer Jordan
5. Rodney Williams
6. Charlie Whitehurst
7. Woody Dantzler
8. Mike Eppley
9. Kyle Parker
10. DeChane Cameron

1. Deshaun Watson
2. Homer Jordan
3. Steve Fuller
3. Rodney Williams (tie)
5. Charlie Whitehurst
6. Tajh Boyd
7. Mike Eppley
8. Woody Dantzler (tie)
8. Kyle Parker
10. DeChane Cameron

Boyd vs. Eppley could be flipped. Eppley was a cool customer, TB was to much of a gunslinger!

Surprised no one has mentioned Nealon Greene. He had the misfortune of being on some bad Tommy West teams, but he was a very good QB. I think he definitely belongs in our top 10.

Kyle Parker > Tajh Boyd. Parker was very under appreciated.

He is sitting right outside my top 10. I have him at No. 11. I agree. He was a very good quarterback for Clemson and had a long career in the CFL.

Interesting debate there. I would have Parker higher. If not for the broken rib his final season Clemson would have had one helluva year including a win over Auburn.

I may have the only opinion like this and I do not know any details of injury or anything else but I thought Parker played not to get hurt in 2010. After the Auburn loss IMO he just played like he was trying to save himself from injury so he could still play Baseball.

Naw, dude played hurt. He was tough to play through that pain. As I recall it was a dirty hit to boot! Freaking Catman makes the FG, I think CU wins that game!

I think you have to define “best” a little better.
Best fit for the talent they played with? IIRC, three of those guys play/played on sundays...Watson, Fuller and CW....using that as a way to level the playing field, they should arguable be 1-3.....after that....
Could you imagine WD running the current offense? How about Parker with his arm strength? Was Williams a 100% product of the system? He was a 4 year starter, but did little more than run the option out of the veer. TB had the benefit of the best wide receiver group in the history of College Football (prove me wrong)...it seemed to be literally impossible to overthrown Sammy Watkins...and Homer Jordan? Again...can you run the veer? Then Mike Eppley... really?!

Is toting a clipboard considered playing?!
P.S. One of my favorites, beat the Coots 4 in a row. He should be #1!

Playing in the NFL does not define how good a guy was in college. It's a different style and play in the NFL. A lot of former great college quarterbacks have failed in the NFL, but you can't take away what they accomplished in college.

Deshaun Watson is the best at Clemson not because he is a starter in the NFL, but for what he did at Clemson. The same with Fuller.

You can't compare apples to oranges. You have to compare apples to apples.
