Default Do you think Sammy Watkins will put up better numbers in LA?

The Rams have a second-year QB, do you think Sammy Watkins will be able to put up big numbers in LA?

It depends on QB, OL, and play calling.

Unless Goff starts taking major steps, no.

Yeah...all about the men up front and the guy responsible for getting the ball to him.

That said, Watkins adds another good skill player to the mix with Todd Gurley in LA. That will help the whole team I think if they can stay healthy.

BUT, as we know here at Clemson from 2008, you can have all the skill players in the world, but if you don't have a good OL, you'll be average or just above average. Same applies to DL on defense.

Sammy putting up good numbers depends entirely on him staying healthy. based on how poorly he's done that chances are no.

If he can stay healthy I believe he has the opportunity. Despite his struggles last year I feel that Jared Goff has far more upside than Tyrod Taylor.

Goff will love under throwing to Sammy. Rams are like the Bills, only better weather.

Dude you are nuts. Sammy is a #1 and a game changer when healthy. Also staying healthy and not being good is 2 totally different things. The whole "how poor;y he has done" just confuses me and makes me ask if you have even watched him play in the NFL but I digress. As far as Sammy its hard to say based solely on the fact that I thought the Rams were friggin nuts for spending the #1 pick on Goff. I think Goff is a bust and thought that before he got drafted. I didn't see how this year the experts could pick Watson apart yet acted as if Goff was the second coming of Peyton Manning but I digress again. If Sammy can stay healthy and if he can get good QB play Sammy is a #1 receiver and would put #1 receiver numbers up.

You clearly misunderstood my post. Sammy has done a very poor job of staying healthy, not a poor job of playing while healthy. That is what I said, not that he has played poorly.

Being a southeast player, my guess is he'll tolerate the Cali weather better than Buffalo. I think that translates into better health and good production despite the QB or OL quality. If the foot has become something like a Jacoby Ford situation, then this might be his last season as a starter, and he would fall into the same merry go round as CJ. I hope for the best for him.
