Default What stood out to you from the first scrimmage?

From what you heard about Clemson's first scrimmage, what stood out to you?

Little to no impact by Deon Cain (based on what I've read). I figured he'd be featured and be the guy KB would be trying most to get the ball to. I also thought that Cooper and Johnson would each get a series with the 1s (on O and D).

I'm certainly not ready to panic, but the O needs to get their act together before week 1.

The quarterback play. I want to see us live before getting too crazy though. We'll beat most teams with bad quarterback play so I'm not on edge yet.

Everyone has the flashback to 2014 with Stoudt/Watson, but I don't think this is the same. Bryant is an electric runner and at least brings that to the table. If anything he's going to be scrambling a lot if he has trouble going through progressions. We'll have to wait and see though because the coaches are keeping things relatively quiet.

Inconsistency on offense. Really to be expected going against a Top 5 D and all the QBs getting reps. It is disconcerting that no one is really stepping out at QB or RB.
