Swinney on Deon Cain: "He's changed his life forever"
"Well, just first of all, and I told Deon after the game, I'm so proud of that kid. It's special. It's disappointing when you have — it's like your children. Sometimes your children disappoint you and you have to discipline them. But when you have to do it in front of the whole world, that's a difficult thing to do. We all have kids and we have issues, but that usually stays within our house, and it's unfortunate that — but it comes with the territory. And there's consequences for your actions.
"It was a very difficult situation last year at the end of the Orange Bowl, left him at home when we went to Arizona, for that kid to — didn't let him go through spring, and for him to have the type of year that he had, I mean, he's changed his life forever. ... I'm just really, really happy for Deon. It's just very gratifying to see him grow up and mature and earn it. Like I said, he's changed his life forever."
