Right now I'm about half way through the Korean War and have just joined the rest of my company who are at Camp Nara, Japan. They left Korea in early January, 1951. Me and two other guys left the company before they went to Japan. We went on TDY and joined a Combat Engineering Company near the 38th Parallel for six to eight weeks to "enjoy" some of the coldest weather I've ever experienced. We had not been paid for several months so one of the first things we did was to go to Osaka to get our money. When we arrived in japan we did not have one cent between the three of us. Guess what our plans were for the evening.
I hope to get this finished in the next three to four months and get it to the publisher.
