Default Death Valley at its loudest

What game, IYO, was the loudest you ever heard Clemson's Death Valley?

2016 Louisville. Big plays on offense and the defense needed our encouragement in that crazy second half. I didnít have any voice left and my ears were ringing after the game ended.

Been a few. Louisville 2016. Miami 3OT game. FSU 2011

Remember the FSU game, when we sacked the QB to secure the win, I could not hear my cousin talking, and he was sitting right beside me.

That Miami game was in 2005, and the stadium has never been louder. I literally felt Frank Howard Field vibrating on the sideline after Bennett made that sack. Nothing is going to touch that one.

Notre Dame was loud.

The Florida State Game that broke out in the Chant was extremely loud during the McDaniel interception.

This is the correct answer. I was in the lower bowl for that game and it was literally uncomfortable at times. My ears were still ringing many hours later when I went to bed that night. I was also in the same spot for the 2016 Louisville game and it was extremely loud for UL's first several possessions but not as loud as the 2005 Miami game.

Miami hands down. If you Google Clemson Miami you will see a video that shows the comparison of the noise on TV verse on field level. That field level video is mine from when I worked on another site back in the day.

I'd have to go with ND, I didn't make the '05 Miami game. Torrential downpour and all, it was crazy loud the entire game, it seemed. And when they stopped them the last time it was NUTS!

I remember that video, Robert! That place was nuts and I think it had to do with the fact they were building the WestZone at the time and all that concrete and steel was exposed and the sound just vibrated off it.

I think the Florida State game in 2006 was extremely loud. Think that was the game the goal post was torn down.
