He certainly needs to be on the outfield wall. I would also like to see the new player facility named after him.

I can agree with both of those suggestions.

I don't know if it's allowed in college, but I think it would be cool to see a "7 day" for one of the games.. Kinda like MLB does with Jackie Robinson, have the whole team wear the number 7..

That Q&A with DRad sure sounded awkward (I guess how one might expect). I hope that doesn’t derail any momentum to get something done. Is the relationship between them pretty frosty?

DRad's approach worked with Brad but not with Jack.

Regardless, Jack should be on the outfield wall for opening day next year.

The new player facility naming should be saved for a donor or group of donors who fund an endowment that lets us recruit alongside UVa and Vandy and USC Sr. who fund full Schollys, vs. the BS NCAA 12.7 limit.

Those naming rights are not likely meaningful for that. The endowments like that take hundreds of millions of dollar because they are open to all students not just athletes.

Jack needs to be on the outfield wall next year without a doubt.

I would also like to see something started where before each season the team votes on a senior that has been the best leader on the team in previous seasons to wear the #7 jersey his senior season. Put a patch on that jersey honoring Jack like the #4 and #28 football jerseys honor Fuller and Spiller. Retiring a number is an honor but if it were me it would be more of an honor to have my former jersey number serve as the representation of leadership for Clemson Baseball from now until the end of time.

I would recognize him publically at a game, give him a plaque and thank him for his service to CU. Having your name on the outfield wall should be limited and rare such as national POY or winning a natty.
