Default Two quarterback system?

If there is no separation can Clemson make a two QB system work early in the season?

We could make it work, but that would be the least favorable option in my opinion. Two QB systems rarely work, for several reasons:

-It is difficult for either QB to develop continuity with the rest of the offense
-Thus, it is also difficult for either QB to develop the confidence and leadership necessary to be successful
-Egos get in the way

I would prefer that we settle on a starter and hitch our wagon to him, being prepared that we will have to take the good with the bad and possibly endure some growing pains to get where we want to.

Would love to see it happen and work succesfully, but I feel like the coaches will pick a starter and go with it. However, I think with having co-OCs it might could work.

I think it could hinder the fast pace our O likes to run but it could help open up the playbook also as they could calls based on the different strengths of each QB. I think the coaches would definitely need to plan for that and not just go with reactions to the QBs play. Definitely go with who's hot but have a plan if their not. I would prefer to have a legit starter but hope he'll have somewhat of a short leash as we have others that might be better at the time.
