Default Former Oregon State coach must never want to coach again

You will not believe what he said about his coaching staff to a columnist prior to leaving on Monday.

Wow! I can't believe a head coach said this about his coaching staff.

this was discussed on First Team this am. Idiocy of the comments aside, I tend to agree with those guys in that I'm surprised the columnist actually shared what clearly seem to be private texts.

I guarantee you that the new head coach will not be communicating at all with that columnist from the Oregonian.

Columnist said Andersen knew the texts would be published, and said he had spoken to Andersen day of publishing to let him know.

I honestly respect him more than I did before reading this. My gut feeling is that he is fed up with the coaching profession, and wanted out. I also think that he gave his all to the school, and realized that wasn't enough. It is kind of refreshing to see.

I agree. Nice to see a coach enjoy his job and not the money.

Totally disagree. Any guy willing to take the hit and not hold the university hostage is going to be imminently hirable.
