Default Does anyone care about the NBA?

I was just watching sports center and was watching NBA highlights and thought to myself, "Does anyone are?"

I can't say that I do. It just seems so scripted at times. I can almost predict what is going to happen in every game.

The NBA seriously needs to fix itself.

Pacers baby! Half-a-game out of the 7 seed in the East. In all honesty, I do think the NBA has become a more entertaining league in the past handful of years. I'm not sure that upward trend doesn't coincide with a dip in quality at the collegiate level.

I haven't watched it much since Jordan retired. Its just glorified streetball now. The Spurs still do it right, but teams like that are few and far between.

I would really like to watch the Hawks more, but I can't. Greenville gets Hornets games and the national folks have only picked them up once (I think).

I used to be a HUGE fan of the Jordan & Pippen Bulls when I was in high school & college. I watched virtually every game they played... recorded some on the ol' VCR - LOL!

I follow it now some, here and there - mostly just watch the finals. I'm getting a bit more into it this season because the Hawks are playing great and even though I haven't historically been a Hawks fan, living in the Atlanta area makes me a bit more interested/vested. Besides, they are winning by playing GREAT TEAM basketball... without a big super-star on the roster. That appeals to me. The other night, vs the Cavs, I counted 9 passes in one possession, that ended with an easy bucket and absorbed 20 or so seconds off the shot-clock. And Jeff Teague had a chase-down block! I'm down with that type of basketball.

Give the Hawks a chance, Will... they don't play "scripted" basketball
