Keep up the good work Kirk. I'm sure one of OSU's own,now an ESPN employee, calling out Carman somehow works for us.

Carman isn't the typical Dabo recruit. Even though they've trashed him for months and months he's going to O310 State

It's like so many kids today. Not saying he's a bad guy. Just typical of the egomaniacs we are raising in this country. Life will teach him about his opinions eventually. Til then, he's just spouting his opinion and Herbie should just give it what it's worth and ignore it. But it involves his beloved Ohio st. So he feels he has to defend it i guess.

Wondering if Heriberto calls out ESPN talking heads when they make the same or similar comments? Recruits has the same rights as the "experts" in terms of sharing their opinion

Carman's reply to Herbie

In case Tweet gets deleted

Pretty sure I wouldn't have any problems in Dabo Swinney's or Clay Helton's locker room for my OPINION on OSU's qb issues.

Herbstreit tries hard to keep his Buckeye emotions under wraps. And most of the time he succeeds. This time he didn't. From a sports perspective Twitter is a platform almost entirely devoted to critics and fans. And fans get just as critical at times about their teams as about their opponents or rivals. The recent noise about Sumlin is really a great example (tweets - not letters). So to single out OSU recruits critical about OSU seems odd. Maybe Herbie is himself really frustrated - I would be after last year's playoff and the start to this season.

Didn't Jack say a few months ago that if Ohio State U were located outside of Ohio that he would've already committed there?

I have a great deal of respect for Herbie. Like TigerNE said, he does a good job of not being a homer. This time, he failed though. He's asking 16-18 year old males who are currently "The Man" on each of their high school campuses, quite possibly the most opinionated people on the planet, to not be opinionated. That's like trying to make mustard be ketchup.
