I think--if u get to the bottom of jakes thinking, it come back to the possibility that he really wanted his dad to get a job at clemson--so he could be a tiger.and since that "dog didnt hunt"---he is a bit bitter..id probably feel the same way, if i really wanted to go to a certain school--and there was little to no chance of it happening....just my guess though...
