I'm not sure if anyone is acting like it's a big deal. Just an article on a baseball commitment. A commitment is newsworthy regardless of how talented we view the player.

QB just isn't a position where you limit your options. I agree about not wasting too much time and energy. It's all predicated on continually getting positive feedback from the prospect.

QB is a position that makes sense to expand your recruiting footprint for though. A QB is more likely to go further away from home to find an offense that fits their style.

Is Pinion on schedule to graduate early? Chances are he wouldn't get drafted this year or next. Wouldn't have much too lose either, if he will have his degree already.

I don't think that a NFL career is an issue in his decision. If he is drafted very high in the MLB Draft. I can't imagine that he would turn that contract down. If he doesn't go very high. He comes...
