Lay is a good one but I thought too many times he went down as soon as he caught the ball or was going to the ground as he caught. He has to get yardage with that big body. He is obviously a match up nightmare if he can continue to progress. The guy that caught my eye and someone that just looks different than the other guys at his position in just the way he plays is Ajou Ajou. He is very fluid and reminds me of Sammy Watkins the way he ran routes and just his fluidity in and out of breaks. I'm VERY excited to see Ajou this Fall. Let me throw an edit on here. I really like LaVonta Bentley (I think that's his first name). I just think once he puts the whole package together he is going to be monster. Oh and before I forget Xt looked good as well. Haven't seen that XT in awhile.

Lay fits that mold of college TE that we occasionally see being moved to OT. Wonder if that’s been mulled over.

This was my thought. I think he could be great OT.

My biggest surprise... Roddy Jones being complimentary for the entire broadcast.

I was expecting a yeller jacket jab or two.

The progress made by Ajou. Will make noise this year and be a Mike Williams monster next year.

I noticed the same thing. He did throw in that they were 4-1 against Clemson, but not bad coming from him. Ironically, I believe one of those wins was one they had to forfeit in the ACCCG.

That was the only way someone of his age could play another ACC school five times in their career. (unless they met in a highly unlikely bowl game)

To be fair, the reason they had to give up that title was bogus in light of what had been happening at UNC. However, Roddy did seem to know his place (and the audience) on Saturday. He often takes the contrarian view on Clemson.

Ajou Ajou and Phil Mafah. If Ajou's knowledge of the game ever catches up with the physical tools....he has a chance to be the next great WR.
