They have a beautiful campus although Statesboro isnít much to speak of.

It is surprising how hard GaSo fell for a while. It's not a small school anymore, so maybe they start getting more energy for football. They lack money however.

Someone in my family who is a Ramblin' Wreck fears that both GaSo and especially GaSt could end up giving Tech a run for the second tier in-state recruits unless things change. (He's not a PJ fan.) He thinks it's possible in a few years that GaSt could rival any other team besides UGA just because they are taking the program so seriously including funding.

Years and years and years ago when I was freshly out of Clemson I remember going to visit someone in Statesboro. Seemed like then about every weekend people would go to the coast, either Savannah or Jekyll/St. Simons, rather than stay in town. If that hasn't changed much I guess the town is probably dead a lot of the year.
