Default Austin Jackson transfer?

I was surprised to find this in my feed. Maybe he is transferring because it's so early in his academic career. No idea how good he is.

TigerNE you are the real mvp. I can't think about anything else right now, but the game.

I thought Dabo doesn't take transfers unless they have an existing relationship and the recruit had to go the junior college route?

Is this one of those situations?

It think the policy is great as recruits know where they stand and who they must compete with for playing time.

Jackson looks to be a walk-on.

Jackson and the people around him thinks he will walk on and have a chance at starting. Just from what I heard on the circuit.

He has to sit out a year, right? I think if you move down from FBS to FCS you are immediately eligible, but don;t think it works if you move up.
