Default ACC media

I'm really disappointed with the ACC media covering this tournament. Tobacco Road teams of course were covered and I thought NC State had the most media covering them from the Triangle.

Clemson had three media outlets covering it, with TCI of course having the biggest crew.

But after that no one else was here. When Clemson media left the press conference after the Tigers were through last night. There was no one in the media room for FSU. Not one member of the FSU media came up and covered them.

Louisville has no one up here either covering them. It was me and two national writers covering their press conference yesterday. It is really sad!

Outside of Aaron Fitt, there will be no one, from the working media, covering today's championship game. It's crazy! I have never seen that here.

That is crazy. Wonder how that made the FSU and Louisville players feel.

I see that as I travel to the road games in the conference. In many cases I am the only media member there to cover the games. I am always the only Clemson media member there but also there are not any for the home team.

I guess they see it as the “off season” once basketball and Spring games are held. Then they start showing up again for fall camp. Or could they be more interested in men’s and women’s lacrosse?

It is surprising because FSU and Louisville have good baseball programs so you would think they would have more media at the ACC Tournament.

I bet this has a lot to do with the state of the newspaper business. It sounds like no one can afford to travel and cover teams as much as they used to.
