Doubt it. Maybe 1 will leave or something but I don't think it hurts as bad as many of you think.

I agree, if you are a defensive player, you must think I can come in and make an immediate impact.

No way to know that right now obviously guys. Still working on postgame stuff.

I would seriously doubt if this will have much of an impact, if any at all, on the players currently committed to the Tigers.

The guys that are currently committed seem to have always been solid. But I just dont see us getting bullard, darby, or goldman now but we'll see.

I think he was "thinking" before tonight.

I will say this: This too shall pass. Things WILL settle down. Clemson isn't going away. This hurts big time. I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I have to say that this is about the lowest I've been, but there will be excitement with the program again. It's never as bad as it seems, and it's never as good as it seems.

WV will lose in the future. They won't keep winning into a happily-ever-after eternity. Clemson will win in the future. This loss won't be the "scarlet 70" that we have to wear forever.

A recruit who bases his decision on things like this isn't basing his decision on anything solid. Who'd have thought Florida would be so bad this year? But they will come back. And Tennessee? It looks horrible there right now. But, you know, they will have good days ahead, too.

Recruits need to look at the solid "givens" of a program/school. Good and bad games are bound to happen, and, at Clemson, far more good games happen than bad ones. It is Dabo's job to try to reduce the bad ones.

Yes. Wins are good games.

Tonight's game was perhaps the worst.

I hope you are correct. You have been correct in the past, so I am going to go with that. It makes me feel better!

Go Tigers!

Z strikes again. I guess that any team that lost a game this season or during the bowl season should now lose their recruits? I guess that the only team that might have a shot at landing any good recruits is LSU by that thinking. You do recall that last year we were 6-7 going into signing day? That game hurt, don't get me wrong. But, if we have to worry about someone not committing to us because of one game, we don't want him on our team.
About Marty Williams- It was reported about two weeks ago that ECU was recruiting him as a quarterback. I think we are looking at him as a defensive back. He has a choice to make that could be huge for his future. I would love for Clemson to get every player that we want. But, I pray that every kid makes the best choice (whether it is Clemson or not) in the college they attend.
Once again this lose hurts but look what this team has done for Clemson this year. An ACC Championship (first in 30 years,) a 10 win season and all of the other numerous things they have accomplished this year.

I'm new to this board but is z always this negative. I mean the team accomplished a lot more then anyone ever thought they would this season. At the beginning of the season I thought that a 8 win season would be great compared to what happened last year. Where were we wicked to finish in the ACC preseason again?

Dabo pulled in a top 10 class last year after a bad season, but with a change at OC and hiring Morris. The move was positive and showd a commitment to building a team.

Maybe he can do it again - will it take a change at DC??

2 schools of thought. hoping the recruits take the second thought process "Im going there and making the difference" Does that make sense?

I agree with you, especially on defense.

You guys need to relax. I simply asked a question everyone is thinking. Being humiliated on national tv hurts recruiting. Kids are fickle and things like this can easily sway them. Patrick Destefano said all the guys at the under armour game were already being made fun of bc of that loss.
