Default A Strange Situation

In years past early January had all of us on the edge of our seats wondering if we were going to land recruits T. U. V, W. X. Y and Z on signing day. Even Robert and staff were also gnawing at the bits trying to calm our fears and at least giving us a glimmer of hope. Here it is Jan. 11, 2015, and our class is virtually complete. Maybe two more commits between now and and signing day, but essentially, our class is complete, it's elite and over half are already in school.

There was always a lot of excitement leading up to signing day, wondering how we would fare. We're extremely happy with our current group of commits and wouldn't have it any other way, nevertheless, I sorta miss those closing days during the recruiting season.

Hale and I were discussing this earlier today.

It is a different year for sure.

I know everything has accelerated in recruiting. You hear so much about them and so early now. It seems like they should be sophomores before they even enroll.

Except for the 2011 class, we whiffed on the majority of our late deciding, big name targets

I'm sitting back and enjoying this class. It has been relatively drama free, except for Ray Ray. This is one of the all time great Clemson recruiting hauls (on paper), kids are committing early and not wavering. Nothing could be better than how this class has turned out

I'll still be watching, waiting for the signatures to roll in, but I for one am thrilled with this class and hope we keep them all on on NSD.

And because of our great Head Coach that had the forethought to plan ahead, we have kept this class intact after The Chad moved on! Not only does it look like we will keep everyone. It appears that the transition has went flawlessly!
