Default 2008 vs 2011 Recruiting Classes

I certainly thought that the 2011 class would out-perform the 2008 class, but that doesn't look to be how it will turn out. (individual, not team)
I just don't see enough names to out-perform Bowers, Allen, Ellington, Ford, Thompson, Freeman, Hall, etc...

Obviously, that Sammy guy was good. Bryant was good. Stephone Anthony will be in AA discussions. But for a class with so many "can't miss" guys...I thought the awards would be getting racked up. Think about this, after 3 seasons, the 2011 class has produced 1 first team all-acc. That's just not what I expected when we signed Sammy, Bellamy, Steward, Anthony, Crawford, Townsend, Peake, Bryant, and MacLain.

Still a fantastic group with more to play for...just found it interesting. I would definitely say that, as a whole, they've positively impacted the program far more than any other class before them.

Input?

I agree. However I think 2013 is the best we have had in a very long time.

Yeah, with Bellamy and Townsend (and 4* Cortez Davis) not even being on the roster anymore, and Steward having injury problems, I agree. That 2008 class produced a lot of studs. Hopefully this year Peake and Crawford will have All-ACC years and Anthony an All-American campaign. At this point I just want to see Steward become either a starter or top reserve.
