Recruiting Notes: Clemson vs. Wofford Game
Clemson welcomed a number of notable visitors to Death Valley for Saturday’s game vs. Wofford.
The headlining prospects on campus are a pair of Clemson commits – five-star quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei of Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco and four-star safety R.J. Mickens of Southlake (Texas) Carroll – both of whom are making their official visits this weekend.
Uiagalelei made the trip with his parents and younger brother, Matayo, a 2023 defensive end with offers from LSU, Oregon and Southern Cal.
Mickens’ teammate at Southlake Carroll, 2022 quarterback Quinn Ewers, was planning to visit but told us he did not make the trip because he wasn’t feeling well.
