Default Is it time for GameDay to let Corso move on?

What do you think?

I think they can bring him in for a segment or two but it's definitely time for him to move on (maybe at the end to put on the mascot head). Herbie has to nudge him in the right direction and help him remember things throughout other discussions as he appears lost and confused sometimes. It truly is sad as he's been a fixture of CFB for so long, but when it's time, it's time... time beats us all.

In some ways it's been time but it won't be the same without him as he is part of the show. I say just give him a reduced roll and go out on his own terms. I enjoy watching him but also somewhat feel sorry for him.

I've always hoped that when Lee does hang it up they get Spurrier to replace him

I saw let him do it as long as he wants. it's just a football pre-game show it's not like he could make a mistake that has any real consequence. As long as the other guys at the table are good with it let it be.

I hate it but I think so. He sometimes finds it hard to put a sentence together and gets Herbie to finish his sentences. Last year especially, we saw a lot more of Pollack in his usual spot so I think it's coming. I do agree they should let him do as much or as little as he wants. I hate to see these guys go...where's Keith Jackson????

I think he has been past his time. I really like him because he seems like a nice guy when I have met him, but he just isn't as quick whited as he used to be. His deliveries are too slow.

Way past time except it depends who replaces him. An almost worn out Corso is better than Palmer, Mora, Tebow or insert some other biased SEC homer.

GWBMCSE is correct here. They've already been grooming David Pollack for a more expanded role the last couple of years. I could see that be even more pronounced this year. Corso did not look well towards the end of last season. The producers have to see that.

As Walhalla said, he should be allowed to come in for the last segment of picks (and mascot head) as long as he wants to keep doing it but he should no longer be a fixture on the show.

I am good with Pollack getting more camera time. Even though he is a Dawg, he has an objective outlook on the game and doesn't just shill for the SEC like some of his counterparts.

He should have never returned after his stroke. Maybe once as a final hurrah but he has needed to go for years now.

They're just keeping him around for the final prediction segment. I guess ESPN doesn't think they can recreate that with someone else.
