Default Are you more concerned about Notre Dame after Saturday?

Hype builds for some after the dominating win over Pitt. I'm not sure I am buying it yet as I think Pitt has been way overrated by many this year.

No. Pitt's offense stunk before their starter had to sit this one out. ND doesnt have much in the way of playmakers. The biggest question for us going into that game is overall health of our team.

I do think our offense is getting exposed a bit. We're not great upfront and still young at WR. I thought Syracuse had a decent gameplan on defense....run blitz almost to a fault.

We seem to convert a lot of 3rd and longs, but that is going to come back to haunt us at some point. I'm more concerned about Clemson than ND at this point. Just staying healthy and getting into a better groove on offense.

ND was always the road bump in our path. On the pawsitive Clemson continues to rack up numbers with players out, and mistakes. If Clemson plays a complete game with most all the pieces they win with no problems vs ND. Book is not a great QB hes a game manager and control him and ND is not a offensive power. I do think they will be the best defense we see until post season. So not more concerned but about same as beginning of season.

I would feel a lot better if we had another receiver to compliment Rogers. Hopefully we can utilize the TEs more. We will be more up for ND so I think we'll play better than what we saw against Syr.

^^This. If Clemson plays up to our potential, I don't think it will be that close in the end.

Make no mistake this game will be a bloody war type game. ND knows what is at stake and will sell out for the win. Clemson will need its A game from both the coaches and players. If Clemson does not also sell out for the win meaning matching the effort and passion from ND it will not end well. If CU does bring it then it may not be close.

In most big games the team with the best QB comes out on top so from this aspect I like our chances.

Maybe slightly. At full strength, playing a complete game on offense and defense, no one can stop us. Anything less than that, we are beatable. Haven't kept up with ND much, but didn't they scrape by Louisville or someone like that? I really hope we don't overlook BC on the way to South Bend or it's a moot point.

We need the team to be more focused, O-line to get better, and 1 WR to step up other than Amari. I think it would be nice if we had all the defensive starters for the game.

Iíve been thinking about the 3rd and longs. It feels like many more this year. Elliott needs to focus on being more productive on 2nd down. Eventually 3rd and long is going to turn into sacks and potential turnovers against the better defenses.

Actually we tend to rebound pretty well after a bad-ish game so Iím not really worried about that one. Itís clear ND has gone pure vanilla this year and will have some surprises but they canít get faster and that is a problem. Tigers will win.

I absolutely agree. My guess would be heavier TE involvement, but we'll see. The last couple of games are filled with a ton of run blitzes and loading the box to stop Etienne. Its imperative we get more developed at WR to combat this.
