Default Jamie Harper Overrated?

5-star Jamie Harper is not looking like a 5-star player. We heard all spring how he was going to be so much better. Haven't seen that on the field so far.

So far Ellington looks to be the better player.

Jamie looked good against MTSU. Hasn't have many opportunities against GT or TCU.

Has not shown 5-star talent yet.

Cant show the talent that he has when the croaking staff is calling all the plays for 2 players and not getting him into the action

what? is this a joke? you can never get the ball to CJ enough...ever. Jamie can show off his stars next year if he wants, but getting the ball to CJ and Jacoby is never a bad thing....ever.

A two-back set IMHO would help both CJ and Harper as it would make the defense key on both players instead of when we have only one back. Harper actually needs more carries to develop his potential. He still tries to "stutter-step" when he should be plowing forward. I believe a two-back set would help our ground game, resulting in more carries for both CJ and Harper. By the way, Ellington is no slouch.

Harper should get more carries this week as the Tigers romp the Terps

Agree, expect to see Harper show some things Saturday. Ellington is going to be the man though and Lane once he gets here

Jamie just needs more chances. He will do fine. He is not a 5-star guy, but will be a very good back when given the opportunities.
