The offense just needs to get better on third down and this team will take off and I think can be unstoppable.

Yep. This is where Hunter Renfrow and Jordan Leggett made a difference. To be fair, Rogers has played very well considering his ACL recovery, but they just haven’t had that go to guy who you can take to the bank on a drive sustaining 3rd down play. Last year TL leaned on Hunter vs forcing something farther down field. Right now the solution appears to be spread out and then give the green light for Trevor to run. I really don’t like that for keeping him healthy. My hope is that Lawrence and Overton can find some chemistry on the intermediate routes so they can exploit that part of the field.

Red Zone efficiency is lacking this year as well. They just need to clean some things up. Having more third-and-shorts will help with those conversions. Gotta stay on track and cut out the ridiculous false starts.

Please stop the bubble screens. Why do we live plays that net between -1 and -4 yards almost every time?

If the WRs would just run the routes to the line to gain it would get us at least 1 more 1st down per game. Against UL we needed 7 and ran a 5-yd route and failed to get the 1st down HR13 ran his route to the marker.

My guess is that they keep showing that so at some point one of the forward blockers can release for a long fade. The key to fishing is knowing when to set the hook.
