Yep. I don't know what he was thinking playing their DBs 25 yards back when all Brees needed to do was make quick passes for first downs. Did Crennel really think Brees would go deep for a hail mary with time on the clock and a timeout?? Come on man.

In addition to that boneheaded defensive play, they need a new GM or new coach or both because they ones they have now have failed to develop an offensive line. DW was sacked over and over again. It is ridiculous.

Two great points above and exactly what I was thinking last night.

DW4 was sacked 6 times last night. Cut that number even in half and most likely there would've been a couple more 1st downs and maybe a few more points on the scoreboard. He can't make completions nor pick up first from his back!

And even the announcers were befuddled at the Defensive scheme on that 30-second drive to end the game. Prevent on Drew Brees when there's a kicker on the sideline that was hitting 60-yarders during warmups??? That guy needs to be fired!

That was a bad defensive call at the end of the game. You have to bring pressure, press coverage and play a safety high. Make Brees have to take more time off the clock. I don't know what the Texans were thinking there.

If they don't get the OL fixed Watson is going to have a much shorter career than he should.
