Will Cain and McCloud visit Florida this weekend?

We wanted to pass along the latest information we have on Florida sensations and Clemson commitments Deon Cain and Ray Ray McCloud.

We spoke with a source earlier this evening that said Florida expects both to visit this weekend.

Before the panic sets in we spoke with a second source that said not so fast. The second source told TCI they do not expect Cain and McCloud to follow through with a visit to Florida this weekend.

We will continue to monitor this situation and let you know the latest as we get more confirmation.

I hope they both stick with Clemson. Watson and the incoming players are going to be special.

Are either of these two early enrollees? Are they planning on making trip up for the SC game? The high school season should be coming to a close so I hope they can both make multiple trips up here, soon.

The latest info we had last night was that Cain is not making the visit. Florida was still expecting McCloud

So you're hearing that as a future Tiger Ray-Ray just wants to see South Carolina lose on someone else's dime right?

We have confirmed that McCloud is on Florida's campus right now.

No.

With the news of Muschamp's dismissal, it looks like Clemson doesn't have a whole lot to worry about here. Relationships are a big deal to the McCloud family. It's going to be hard for whoever comes on at Florida to build a relationship from the ground up and over take Clemson.

That is good to hear. Being an early enrollee certainly shortens the window for a new staff too.
