Default Countdown to Signing Day - December 11

It's back. The Countdown to Signing Day Recruit Tracker has returned as we track another top ten recruiting class for the Tigers. We will now run The Recruit Tracker each Thursday night for the month of December and then daily until Signing Day.

Check back each Thursday night to see any updates to The Tracker. Changes each week will be highlighted in Orange. We only show recruits that we believe have some chance of signing with the Tigers. The list can certainly fluctuate between now and National Signing Day.

We hope everyone enjoys the return of this popular TCI feature.

Moving Up

Denzel Johnson, Mike Jackson, Kareem Orr

(DT) Albert Huggins – 6-3, 280 – Orangeburg, SC

All-American Game: Army

The Latest

Huggins, who is set to announce his decision at his school on Friday morning, met with Georgia head coach Mark Richt on Thursday. Dabo Swinney conducted his visit last Wednesday.

Clemson will send defensive ends coach and recruiter of record Marion Hobby to the school on Friday morning before Huggins' announcement.

The decision will be announced at 11 a.m. from the auditorium at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. TheClemsonInsider is scheduled to be on hand for the announcement.

Clemson continues to flip Fields from his commitment to rival South Carolina, but they're not the only one. Two other schools to keep an eye on as possible suitors: Texas and Georgia.

When Fields committed to South Carolina earlier this year, he cited playing in the SEC as one of the reasons why he wanted to jump on board with the Gamecocks, so that might be worth keeping in mind if Georgia continues to push.

Did Albert meet with UGA? It's reported other places he cancelled the visit.

RTM, it is, being reported that due to some Family Issues, that Albert called UGa and cancelled the visit.

Can you please try to confirm this?

We trust your sources on these matters over others!

Let's just say this. The visit has been scheduled for a while. It is certainly good news that the in-home was cancelled. There is a big difference between meeting with the prospect at his school and having the all important in-home visit.

Nobody wants to waste their time at this point.

And by the way Hale will be in Orangeburg tomorrow.

This sounds good...I'm guessing Hale wouldn't waste his time traveling down there if he didn't think it would be worth his drive
