Countdown to Signing Day - January 20

It's back. The Countdown to Signing Day Recruit Tracker has returned as we track another top ten recruiting class for the Tigers. With National Signing Day just around the corner we will run the Countdown to Signing Day every night.

Check back each night to see any updates to The Tracker. Changes each week will be highlighted in Orange. We only show recruits that we believe have some chance of signing with the Tigers. The list can certainly fluctuate between now and National Signing Day.

Shortly after our Countdown to Signing Day last night the news broke of Fields commitment to the Tigers. He has been moved to the commitment list and removed from the Countdown Tracker.

At this point the only prospect we are still tracking is Denzel Johnson. Check back each night to see if we have any changes, but unless we have new information on Johnson or another prospect comes on the scene late we will not be running the Countdown's every night any longer. We will run them as there is news.

TCI spoke with Johnson on Monday. Denzel told TCI that the Tigers told him they will take him if he gets his ACT score up. He also said Clemson was his leader. He did however say he wasn't sure where he would sign if today were signing day. We don't believe he will have time to get his ACT score up before signing day so he may have a tough decision on where to sign.

Pretty funny to me that we've locked up so many young men or already have them on campus, that we don't have to track but one guy for next season.

Based on what we have heard so far we do not expect any other late additions, except the possibility of Johnson. If we hear differently we will certainly add them to the Countdown.

Have to say this segment is a bit of a yawner!! Thanks to the great job already with EEs and only a handful left to sign up who all look pretty solid. Nice swap out Fields for Briscoe - lose one get a better one!
