Re: Tim Settle
Robert,
Do you still think he's ours to lose?
Seems like he is looking for every reason not to be a Tiger, and UT will likely fill up with Tuttle and PSU with Wilkins. Just curious.
Thanks!

Re: Tim Settle
Rick, let's take the "glass is half full" approach. Maybe he is trying to confirm Clemson is the best place.

Re: Tim Settle
His recruiting just strikes me as off a little. If Huggins wanted to play DT, I wonder if we would just move along.

Re: Tim Settle
Could you imagine Settle and Tuttle going with UNC. That would not be good. I'm ready for Settle, Huggins, Tuttle or somebody to make a decision!
Saw article saying Tuttle is planning to announce Aug 25 and is trending to Tenn. He says classes are filling up and he wants to get it done. Any chance Clemson can get back in there with Shy if UNC is fading?? Is there bad blood between Clemson and the Tuttles? I know Perry is just the uncle but does not seem that is remotely helpful.

Re: Tim Settle
Tuttle hasn't been to Clemson since the Georgia game. His cousin and uncle were in Clemson in June for camp...not sure why Shy wasn't with them.
If he does indeed commit this month, I have a hard time seeing Clemson having much of a chance.

Re: Tim Settle
I hate the recent trend of missing on big D-linemen at the end of the recruiting cycle. Hopefully there is some type of plan in place for Huggins to move inside in certain formations if we can land him.
Adams still stings.

Whether he wants to be or not, Huggins is a d-tackle at the next level.

Re: Tim Settle
Hale,
Did we promise him a shot at DE or is that just what he wants?
Thanks!

Chester McGlockton was recruited to Clemson with the promise he could play Bandit End. DF redshirted him a year, back then they could feed the athletes three meals a day. He grew into DT very quickly.
