Default I'm really disappointed with the SEC more than ever

I'm really disappointed with the SEC's decision today. If the ACC could make it work to try and get those non-conference games in for in-state rivals, who live and work under the same COVID-19 protocols, such as Clemson and South Carolina, then I think the SEC could have tried a little harder, too. That is just my opinion.

Really sucks. I say DRad call up Tanner and schedule it anyway. Makes no sense.

Bama makes the CFP with El Cid on the schedule, why shouldn't we.

The truly tragic part is the continuous game streak. We go from second to dead last. Wisconsin and Minnesota still keep playing. Okie and Okie St take our spot.

So does this mean South Carolina gets to skip the road game this year and play Clemson at home next year? How does that work out financially for Clemson?

Me either. As I stated in another post, who the h*77 is the SEC to tell us if we can play this game or not. None of their business. Schedule it anyway!

Especially when the ACC owns the TV rights.

For a conference whose slogan is "It Just Means More" you think they could have found away to put some meaning behind that saying. I think the ACC really wanted that +1 with that one game being an SEC game. So when you hear SEC teams try and claim the ACC oesn't play anyone just remind them it was them who decided to tuck tail and run when they had the opportunity to play the ACC head up. Not for a second do I believe Muschump that they tried really really hard to keep the rivalry this year knowing his seat is on fire and not having any cupcake games to pad their record that they wanted another sure lose on their schedule.

Will, Do the ACC or the SEC have conference by-laws prohibiting
member teams from doing this, USuCk and Clemson arranging their own game. If not, DO IT !

I doubt very seriously South Carolina could simply play the game anyway. Besides, if their season starts on September 26 we won’t have a weekend available to play it.

The folks at Clemson told me since the SEC made this decision it has to come from them. They don't know what the requirements are over there. I reached out to Ray Tanner for clarity on Thursday night and I still have not heard back from him.

You could play it before Sept. 26.
