Re: OT: If you were elected President...
Change the targeting rule. Just a 15 yd penalty. Maybe ejected/suspended for the half if you have 2 in a game. And maybe something like Yellow cards in soccer where they carry over from game to game, so you might have to sit out a half/game if you accrue 3 over a season.
And...they reset at the end of the year, so no suspension if you had targeting in your last game of the prior season.

Re: OT: If you were elected President...
2 changes:
I'd change the targeting rule into two categories just like flagrant fouls. Both fouls incur a 15 yd penalty, and if the officials feel it was particularly egregious then an ejection can occur. However, a play can only be ejected for the current game and can't be suspended for a half in the following game.
The second change is I'd sign an executive order banning all uses of the term "boneless chicken wings". Those are nuggets and any attempt to call them something they are not will carry stiff civil fines.

Now THAT's some serious stuff right there. We need to start a lobbying effort for that immediately!

Can’t they just slip that into one of these Biden executive orders he’s signing with no clue what they’re about?

TV Timeouts would be gone. Play ball.

Re: OT: If you were elected President...
I would:
1) void that awful TV contract the ACC signed
2) Require all teams to join a conference or be declared ineligible for post-season play.

The DH rule in MLB. I don't care one way or another, and I see the benefits on both sides.....just adopt a single rule for both the NL or AL.

I am with you 100 percent. I would vote for you based more on the second part than anything else. Lol!

Following up on that idea, I would make any player that sets foot on campus ineligible for professional play for three years... for EVERY sport- not just football.
Those roundballers who think they are ready, let 'em go like Kobe and LeBron. One & Done is an insult to amateur athletes everywhere.

Exactly!!
I would also put clearer rules on what can and cannot be reviewed and place a time limit on how long said reviews take in football,

Great, now you're adding coal to my boiler.
I would do away with the "as ruled on the field" verbage. You have video evidence to decide whether a ball crossed a line or not, whether a foul was committed or not, or whether a catch was made or not. I don't give a rip about which zerba was out of position to make a good call.
If it goes to review, review makes the decision. I never want to hear the phrase "indisputable video evidence is required to overturn the call" again. Each coaching booth gets a button which triggers the review booth. Let's call it an "objection" button. Each side gets 2 "buzzes" per game. Booth decides the call. Review may take 120 seconds to analyze and decide. If no change can be determined, "play on" is the call. Otherwise the head referee will address the crowd with the result.
To prevent objections being used as timeouts, all objections will cease with 4 minutes remaining in regulation. The booth will still be able to buzz down in real time after that point on questionable calls.

Re: OT: If you were elected President...
1) get rid of DH
2) Bring back illegal Defense in the NBA
3) rework targeting rules
4) legalize PEDs for all sports or make a rule where if you are caught once using them then the punishment is castration. Got to be one or the other. No more half assing it.
5) get rid of title IX
6) bring back Clemson wrestling
7) make the Monday after the super bowl a national holiday
