Secondly, I am assuming he is picking Georgia to beat Clemson to start the season. Because that is the only way Clemson does not make the CFP next year.

Georgia won’t win the SEC. Even if Clemson loses to the Bulldogs, they win out and an ACC championship will trump anything Georgia has on their 2nd place resume.
