Grice just doesn’t look comfortable pitching from the stretch.
29 pitches to get out of the inning unscathed (so far).

Our weekend starters are really struggling to get quality innings. Too many pitches and end up only going 3-4 innings.

Grice scores when GT had a tailor made DP but the SS sailed the throw into the 1st base side stands. On the broadcast they noted Clemson has hit into a conference leading 16 double plays. I think we kind of sensed that.

More efficient 2nd inning for Grice. He can get into a rhythm when he’s throwing from the windup.

Nice recovery by Grice after the leadoff walk. He’s nearing 70 pitches. Time for the Tigers to score runs in bunches because the middle relief is going to be needed soon.
