Wasn't there some bad blood for awhile with JD and Dabo in regards to his Brother? Happy to see it looks like that is all blown over now

I spoke with with C.J. Spiller yesterday and he told me he and James will both be there. He said it is the first time they have both been at game in Death Valley since the 2008 South Carolina game.

In my opinion, James Davis kick started Clemson's streak of success. Besides being a great RB, he was instrumental, along with Dabo, getting CJ Spiller to come to Clemson. Many credit CJ with starting the ball rolling, but without JD, CJ probably would have gone elsewhere.

The TV announcers made a big deal when we opened the season with aTm his freshman year how excited Clemson was to land the 26th (I think) rated running back in the nation and how much they expected out of him. I think he rushed for over 100 yards that game.

That is when things started to change for the better. There were ups and downs, but it kept trending up from that point forward.

JD fun to cover. C.J. was telling me the other day he kept them going in the locker room and talked about how he guaranteed that win over Maryland in 2007 and he asked him not to do that again.

He said JD is such a good guy and really challenged everyone to play well and to play hard.
