They can't let the strength of their conference be questioned. It's all they have. So annoying

Truth be told they probably only spent a week on both and spent all the other time on making the players better. The staff probably did the same work-up on the other 3 CFP teams.

Being they had the 5 Safety Defense ready to go,one would guess they spent more time working on Oklahoma than they did Bama

So I guess Alabama’s corps of analysts just watched us on tape a few times? Give me a break. If we devoted our entire season to Bama that shows how damn good we really are if we can play a bunch of bowl teams and whip their ass by 3+ TDs. Who cares anyway. Alabama knows how to prepare obviously and we outplayed, outcoached and outprepared their staff. That’s why we’re the national champs. Step up or step aside!

They are in full spin control mode.

ESecPN hitched their cart to that tired old nag of a conference a decade ago. The network success hinges on the mighty $EC being the "best football conference", and that piddly little ACC school just stomped a mudhole in the penthouse suite while the residents were there watching.

To Judge's point, if we truly spent all of the allotted time since the ACCCG on Bama, that is indeed a glorious compliment based on what we did to that undefeated Irish squad. They tried to make it sound bad, and it still comes off as praise.
