How much would you pay to go to the spring game?

If you saw our Insider last night you know they may charge some of the fans since they are going to have to do tickets this year.

It doesn't sound like it would be much. I think they could charge a lot more than I'm hearing.

I wondered how much you think is fair?

Not sure why Clemson feels the need to limit attendance given that the virus is on the down slope and outdoor transmission is rare.

Guess my answer is $0 and I would pay $5 to watch two opossums mate in a burlap sack

I wouldn't pay admission for what is essentially a glorified practice. I have been to the game before; we left early because my kids were worn out. It was a great time, but I would rather save that cash for a real game.

$5 seems fair because of the increased COVID measures they must pay for. For example the set up of the seating to help ensure fans don’t huddle together in large clusters. The Athletic Dept in a normal year budgets to handle the expenses, but obviously budgets are tight given the loss of ticket sales for both football, basketball, and now baseball and softball. I say charge enough to help make the game cost neutral, otherwise just let it be typical scrimmage to avoid all the added costs,

Going to tickets is obviously intended to control attendance numbers. My first thought is the charge is to cover the cost of printing, taking/processing the orders and gate attendants. I would expect in the range of $10, but I would pay $20 just to see Tiger football and some of the newer players.

Nothing - if they have to charge now they will always do it. Its for the fans and keep it as it was or dont do it.

Max $20 for me. They gotta control the numbers so don't see how they can if they don't have tix. Otherwise it'd be first come first serve and then close the gates. That'd suck for people driving any significant distance to get turned away. If they gave away tix, people might not go because there's no loss. I wouldn't mind paying this year to help out. I'd consider it like an IPTAY donation.
