Default Milton Jennings or Willie Korn

Which one did you have higher hopes for? Or is there another one that comes to your mind?

Willy, for sure. There was no doubt in my mind that kid was going to be a star.

Milton is an interesting name to consider though.

Hard to say.

Since recruiting ratings have been established, Milton is our highest rated basketball player coming out of HS.

We at least got one good year out of Crosby. Jennings was four years of 3* play.

Crosby actually had superstar talent. Korn and MJ both arrived and were not as talented as they had been rated. When I saw RC play I thought he might end up being one of the all time greats! My hopes were through the roof for him. When I saw WK and MJ play, I thought they aren't nearly as good as their rankings would have led me to believe so my hopes at stardom just were never there. Same with Sharone Wright...he was supposed to be the next great big man, but as soon as I saw him play my expectations were immediately tempered.
RC is still the guy I look back on and say, "man, he should have been great!"

I'm not sure I would include Sharone Wright anywhere near this discussion! Didn't he average around 20 points/10 rebounds while at Clemson? Maybe not unstoppable, but he was a really good college player.

Sharone Wright was a pleasant surprise after the long list of dominating Clemson Big Men in the lane.

Jennings was the most hurtful in terms of expectations. Korn was one injury away from being our starter for 3 years.

Roscoe Crosby was one baseball contract (and one Wofford cheap shot to the knee) away from being the starting star of WRU.

Damn what Roscoe could have and should been barring injury. You could say the same for Adam Choice.

But honestly, imo, it's Milton. Such freaking high hopes. I feel really bad about saying it because the kid had such high expectations placed on him at our non basketball school.

yeah, I probably shouldn't have brought SW into this conversation. Wrong place for that convo. But when I think over-hyped or disappointing he always pops into my mind. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers....errr i mean tiger fur.
