Let's be honest. So far tonight Bama looks more focused, prepared and has executed much better than we have. Nothing to be ashamed of we are just getting beaten.

We've had a great year and we are built to continue that trend for a while.

With no Mike Williams this year, Bama could afford to single up Deon and put their best player [Fitzpatrick] on Renfrow. Gotta be able to win those 1v1 matchups on the outside. Hopefully Tee grows up quickly.

Oh I know. People get all excited about Jackson and pretend an OL is made up of 1 guy. We should be signing 4 every single year, and stop carrying guys that donít contribute on the field. This is so infuriating to me.

While Cain has his faults, I'm not sure Bryant can consistently put the ball where only our guy can go and get it.

So true, but heaven forbid you ever bring up roster management?

Looking ahead óDabo better start Lawrence in 2018 if he is even close to being the #1 QB.

He is more polished than DW. Watson started as a freshman. Therefore, learn from 2014 what happens when you resist starting a FR quarterback.

With Williams, Sammy, and Nuk, the ball didn't have to be where only our guy can get it. It just has to be within their vicinity. With Cain, however, it has to be where only he can get it, and then he has to hold onto it through the process.

I give some credit to Bama they came out with a heck of a game plan and we made zero adjustments. I think with the Oline play tonight we have been limited as to what we can call as well.

+1. Can't believe he actually thinks his grade will come back as 1st or 2nd. He will be VERY lucky to hear his name called in the 3rd.... but 5th-6th is probably more like it at this juncture.

Either have to throw the ball or get out of there quicker.

This team has never looked like a true playoff team - I think the coaching staff did a great job of managing us back into the playoffs.

The OL carries much of the weight of this loss. And Bryant is a good but not great QB - but a game manager can get a team to a championship. In this case, he made a couple of bad, game changing plays.

I do think the loss will open up next season to a fair quarterback competition - bottom line being "what do we have to lose?"

At the end of the day, who thought we would return to the playoff? Nice run. And we shouldn't drop off next season (while FSU will spend another year in the wilderness).

If I can sound like a complete homer for one moment...
Alabama was totally rewarded for taking the week off against Auburn. The loss didn't hurt them in the eyes of the committee. And getting to spend "championship week" on vacation, while Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma, and, ahem, Ohio State all won must-win games, gave them an extra couple of weeks to rest and prepare. I'm not complaining, but the committee might ought to consider the competitive advantage for teams that don't play during "Week 13" (the same would go for Notre Dame, I suppose).

So question: how many defenders come back for another championship shot to get this sour taste out of their mouths?

The score will look lopsided but the two huge turnovers changed everything. The game was close until the 2 INTs. We were driving for a possible lead. 10-6 became 24-6 in a flash! 😂
