You miss on a 5* player you offered first and were the leader or in the lead group for from coast-to-coast, there's a problem. You can't just shrug that off. Of course, nothing is certain until Wednesday, but there is definitely a cause for concern if Adams does not sign with Clemson on NSD.

if we don't get Adams--huge fail on our part. if we don't get Alexander--huge fail on our part. gotta sign these guys if we're to have a good/great recruiting class.

We have a very good class and it will get better on Wednesday. However, when you hear 90% on a 5star it is hard not to get disappointed.

Default He isn't talking to ANYONE!!

That is exactly what I would do if I were him at this point to. Why talk? What good can come from it?

He needs to let his mind settle and have some quiet time. No more voices trying to convince him.

As I have said for a while now, he will be Clemson bound. It just feels right!

Have faith and don't say anything you will regret after he commits to us.

I'll be very interested to see Robert's predictions tonight. Considering we were at 90% and now to hear that some of Robert's sources(who are sone of the best)are predicting Auburn is definitely a kick in the nuts. With what Robert is now saying combined with what other "experts" are predicting is definitely worrisome.

Robert. You may not want to answer this but are these new sources saying Auburn (ie a new data point) or the same sources who now thing differently?

I guess the good news is that all of the drama associated with waiting and not knowing will be over in about 2 days. I hope Adams chooses to join Clemson. Who knows what his current thoughts are? Was he influenced by Lawson's re-committment to Auburn? Has he stopped talking to ALL coaching staffs because he wants to reflect on his decision? I hope it is the second options because he would be a great addition to our defensive line.

What do you call it when someone predicts the obvious 10 minutes after it actually happens?

Would that be 'deja Ard' or 'post prognostication'?

Just wondering which conference you would like to move to? The SEC is not happening.

I am sure that Elijah will be saying that he flipped Adams away from Clemson.

On a positive note, as long as some sources say Clemson and others say Auburn then you get to be right no matter what happens.

Seriously; I doubt anyone at Clemson either did anything or failed-to-do anything at all that would have reduced our opportunity to sign Adams, so I have a little difficulty understanding why it's a "huge fail on our part". If the player strikes up a friendship with another player and/or family, takes a late visit, and somehow decides he wants to play 4 years with his friend, so be it. You can't stop those things from happening, and they probably work IN your favor as often as they work against you.

As to Alexander - Robert has continually said he doesn't think the kid knows where he wants to go, and other recruiting "guru's" have been all over the board as well. If he makes a late game decision - during a dead period - what are you going to do?

Time to take a pill guys, and look at the roster of returning talent for awhile.
