Default Jonathan Meeks Quick Hit

I spoke with Jonathan Meeks earlier today and found out the following:

- Meeks will finish his call in March and be all set to enroll
- Meeks will enroll in May along with Tajh Boyd
- Meeks confirmed that he and Tajh will be roommates

"I talk with Tajh and BrYce all the time. I spoke with them earlier today actually."

Jonathan has been impressed with new defensive back coach Harbison.

"He is great. I love coach Cheese. We will have a good connection.

"Coach Napier tells me to keep working hard and to keep running. He tells me I have the opportunity to play early. All the things they told me in the recruiting process are coming true."

Jonathan and many of the other signees will be on campus for the first day on practice.

"I talked to Brandon and Roderick. Most of us will be there for the first practice on the 9th."

Be great to get both of them in the system for the summer and learning the playbook early. Hope to see what they have come fall.

Thats an interesting statement. Does Dabo owe you anything? Just curious. He is the coach now. And it would be nice to finally have a coach for everyone to get behind. He was not my first choice as I would have preferred Stoops, but he isnt here and life goes on.

I am behind him as the Coach of the Team but at the same time I think the leash should be short.............YES I was a Tommy Bowden Supporter so I will save yall the grace of throwing that up.

However.....I think tooooooooo Many Clemson Fans think that Dabo will be the Next Danny Ford (and if so hopefully with out the NCAA Infractions) that if and when he doesnt live up to the HYPE that tooo many fans are going to be heart broken

I for one will be behind him as our coach but my expectaions are still low till he can show us what HE Can do with HIS PLAYERS

See it would be the same if you had a Job at lets say Acme and the Meat dept Manger got the Manager Job over the more Qualified Assistant Managers who were at other stores and looking to move up

It is of my opnion that he did not have the resume to get a High Profile job as Clemson is.......

IF Dabo had been the Interim coach at any other College in America Terry Don and the fans would have NEVER Considered hiring him

Now with all of that said I truly HOPE I am wrong in my assesment and that I have to eat Crow..........but only time will tell

i agree. i would have much rather taken a coach with a few good years behind him at coach. but i also believe that given the situation dabo was thrown into, half way through the season, with a team that was under perforing the really high expectations, he did a great job in getting the team to come togeathe and finish stong. Im curious to see wat dabo can do with a team when he has a full year to work with them.

I think Meeks was one of the biggest catches in this recruiting class. We are getting pretty thin in the D backfield.

LOL! Hell, if I had been the manager at any other company in the world instead of the one I was at my first job out of college......I never would have made the General Manager at the company that I was the manager at.

Doesnt really make sense does it?

Come on JT, you can do better than that......

Seems like JT has a hard-on for Dabo to fail. Dont get this...he IS the coach now....you can either support him or jump ship....nothing else is really gonna matter for awhile.

No Im just Not ready to drink the Kool Aid as easily as some are........

Funny thing is that as soon as we have 2 or more losses in a row the supporters will have an excuse and then if it continues they will not be able to be found......

Said it b4 and will say it again......CTBs problem was he stood behind Rob Spense.....

Lets hope that with all of the "Buddies" that Dabo has brought on board he will know when to cut ties

Honestly we should have this in another thread if the mods could cut this out and move it to a DABO SWINNEY Thread that would be awesome
