Man that doesn't look good. I hope he is going to be able to recover.

Compound facture of a leg and ankle injury. Hard to see how he comes back to play pro golf again, but right now it’s about healing and continuing life as a father for his children. Prayers sent up for Tiger and his family.

Of all the hospitals in that area (4 all within about 5 to 10 minute drive of each other), they chose to take him to Harbor UCLA. Don't let the UCLA part fool you. This is a county hospital. One of the 3 LA County hospitals. It is an awful hospital and the staff that I have worked with there do not care about policies and proper protocols. Torrance Memorial or Providence Little Co of Mary were closer to the accident site and top notch facilities than this awful hospital.

Now with that said my dealings have been with trying to train the nursing staff more so than the physicians. I'm sure the docs are great.Since it is used as a teaching hospital, Tiger probably had a 2nd year resident repairing his legs.

I hope everything turns out well for Tiger.

I have to think his agent spoke directly to the surgeon doing his back surgery to get the best orthopedic team available to arrive at that hospital. The trauma center got him stabilized, but Tiger no doubt got the A team in the operating room.

I'm trying real hard to see where they used the jaws to extricate him from the photos online. Appears to me they removed him from the vehicle by removing the windshield.

They said they didn't use the Jaws of Life.

It looks like he is going to be "ok". He is very lucky to be alive.

Geez, reporting now a days on mainstream media sucks.

Heard now they made up the whole story about the officer being murdered at the capital with a fire extinguisher. It’s getting pretty bad.

I heard something about that also. Apparently the officer’s mom claims he experienced a stroke. The Feds aren’t exactly being transparent about the what has been confirmed, and media doesn’t seem interested to “circle back” and correct the reporting.

True. You are probably correct. And after reading some more today supposedly that is the only trauma center out of all of those hospitals in that area. It is just such an awful hospital. I have no doubt the physicians did a great job. With that place I guess I would be more concerned about getting an infection.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for him.
