2017 DE decommits from Notre Dame
2017 Norcross (Ga.) DE Robert Beal has decommitted from Notre Dame. That's certainly a step in the right direction for Clemson...he visited last fall for the game against the Irish.
Personally, I'm a big fan. Love his highlights. Scout has him as a four-star and the No. 9 ranked defensive end in the country. He's also their top defensive end from the state of Georgia.
Not that he wasn't already still a name to follow, but now that he's backed off that commitment to Notre Dame, Clemson's chances of landing the 6-4, 215-pound prospect have increased.
